About Our Therapist

Tweed Head's Most Experienced Electrotherapist

Professional, Experienced, and Thorough

With more than 15 years experience in the field of electrotherapy Gregg Wyatt has been helping families and individuals from the Gold Coast and Tweed overcome chronic and acute pain. Everything from arthritic pain to sciatica seem to respond well to this form of treatment.

Gregg’s interest in electrotherapy stems from his earlier studies of naturopathy, remedial therapy, and musculoskeletal anatomy. Initially Gregg was suffering with tennis elbow in both his elbows which he developed with from his constant remedial massage of his clients. Looking for ways to improve his own condition and the health of his clients led Gregg to the discovery, and now application, of this amazing and exciting technology. It only took the one application to his elbows to overcome the persistent pain he had been enduring for several months. To this day the pain has never returned.

Gregg underwent his training with many of the renown educators in the field of electrotherapy, including:

  • Chris Mortensen. Chris is regarded as one of the world's most experienced SCENAR/physiokey practitioner, educator and presenter.
  • Professor Alexander Revenko. Professor Revenko is one of the founders and also leading educators on SCENAR Therapy. http://www.scenarrevenko.ru/en/about/revenko.htm
  • Doctor Subbotina Galina. A leading educator working alongside Professor Revenko bring SCENAR knowledge to the world. http://www.scenar-revenko.ru/en/about/subbotina.htm
  • Doctor Gerd Raetzel. Orthopaedic Surgeon, Bio-medical engineer, Anatomical University lecturer, Scientist and Author of The Dynamic Raetzel Approach.
  • Prof. Alexander Tarakanov, M.D., Head of Acute Care and Emergency Department, Rostov State Medical University.
  • Tom Askew. Tom is a global pioneer and international teacher of SCENAR therapy around the world.
  • Dr. Donese Worden. A Naturopathic Medical Doctor, an expert diagnostician, a global health educator and a leader in Bioenergetic Medicine

Even after the introduction of electrotherapy (SCENAR and physiokey) to his clinic more than 15 years ago, Gregg and his family use the device on a daily basis for treating all sorts of physical conditions that seem to appear regularly in an active family. "We would never be without it", and "I don't know how we would have survived" are 2 quotes that Gregg shares repeatedly about how beneficial physiokey and SCENAR have been to his family's life.

Providing Expertise and Thoughtful Care

At N S Pain Therapy we strive to offer an alternative approach to what is generally believed as the only way to treat pain. We believe that electrotherapy (physiokey treatment), changes in diet and lifestyle, the application of fasting, introduction of stretching and strength building exercises, go a long way to reducing or eliminating pain. With thoughtful care towards our own body we put ourselves in the position of living and ageing youthfully.

Gregg has conducted 1000's of treatments with pysiokey and SCENAR and has encountered some of the most amazing recoveries. His ability to bring change to difficult cases is why he is now a sort out practitioner in Northern NSW and South East Queensland.

FAQ's

Do I need a referral?

No, you don’t need a referral from a GP (doctor).

If you have any scans or reports then feel free to bring them along.

Is physiokey treatment painful?

Physiokey treatment is not painful.

The therapist continually engages with the client regarding the feeling of the physiokey on the skin. Everyone is different and we understand some people are very sensitive when it comes to skin contact. The physiokey gives out a tingling feeling. Sometimes this can feel like little needles and sometimes just a vibration. It can vary from treatment to treatment and person to person.

Treatment will never be painful as the therapist adjusts the power level in conjunction with what the client desires.

Feedback is encouraged throughout the treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

There is no clear way to determine this accurately. We always encourage our clients to believe they can get well regardless of their condition.

Your general health can play a factor in the speed of healing. A healthy body generally heals faster than an unhealthy one.

Generally speaking the more recent the condition the faster the result.

Another factor to consider is what change is the client trying to achieve. Not everyone wants to be 100% pain free. Just to be able to participate in life at a predetermined level is all some people desire. This can be very different from person to person.

You should discuss with the therapist what is your desired outcome you wish to achieve.
